Priority will be given to applicants taking the full training ( July 3-22).This Acro Yoga teacher training course will give participants the tools to teach intermediate-advanced Partner Yoga and Acro Yoga balances / seamless and dynamic Acro Yoga transitions and the creative process of Acro Yoga Montreal

Acro Yoga Teacher Training Level 2: Requirements
• have taken Level 1 training with Eugene and Jessie.
no one will be admitted to level 2 who has not done a level 1 training. The only exceptions to this rule are individuals who demonstrate exceptioanl exceptional technical prowess and have a unique personal style. In level 2 we are seeking to develop teachers who are ready to step outside the box and create their own movement vocabulary which they will then share with their students. Certification in level 2 is determined by one's willingness to explore the unknown and make it known. In level 2 we move from being clones to become innovators of the practice
• participants should have previous experience in Acro
Yoga,
• studied AcroYoga directly with Eugene & Jessie, or an
AcroYogaMTL. teacher
• or have a strong Acro Yoga foundation from self
practice
• be comfortable with handstands against the wall for
at least 60 seconds
• have a consistent yoga asana practice 2-3 x per week
•be comfortable teaching an hour long yoga class, teacher training certification is not necessary. All applicants must submit a video of themselves teaching a 30 minutes yoga class to a minimum of 3 people
• be familiar with the AcroYoga Montreal style and be able to do the1st part of Victoria Hall Flow 2004 up to 1min:23 sec.
and the 1st part of Hanumanasana Flow
•most important of all a good “sense of humor”!!Below is the Requirement video for 2012, the requirements are the same as 2011. All applicants must submit ( or give us a link to ) a video of themselves executing the Requirements, Yoga asanas, AcroYoga flows ( either "Hanumanasana flow" or "Victoria Hall Flow" ) and teaching a 30 minute yoga class
Acro Yoga Teacher Training Level 2: Schedule
July 12-15, 9:00-12:30pm/1:30-5pm
Sample schedule:
9-9:30am: meet and greet, meditation, group ceremony
9:30-10:15am: warm up a mix of [Ashtanga Yoga, core body
stabilization, partner yoga]
10:15am-12:00pm: breaking down intermediate - advanced partner - Acro Yoga asana, flying sequences and seamless / dynamic Acro Yoga transitions
12-12:30pm: cool down, realign and meditation
12:30-1:30pm: Lunch
1:30-2:30pm: discussion, Q&A, meditation,restorative yoga
2:30-4:30pm: Teaching methodology of Acro Yoga:
breaking down and teaching intermediate - advanced partner- Acro Yoga asana, flying sequences; seamless and dynamic Acro Yoga transitions; exploring the creative process in Acro Yoga.
4:30-5:00pm: Acrobatic strength training, cool down and realigning, meditation and savasana
July 16-17, 9am-12:00m/1:30-5pm.
9am-12pm: Teaching methodology of Acro Yoga:
breaking down and teaching intermediate - advanced partner- Acro Yoga asana, flying sequences; seamless and dynamic transitions of Acro Yoga; exploring the creative process of Acro Yoga.
1:30-5pm: Acro Yoga on Mont Royal. Weather permitting we will take it outdoors to the mountain where we will
display and test out our skills on an unsuspecting public.
